Style the web interface

Description
We should give the web page some visual design. As Debathena, Macathena, and others have found, this doesn't have to be really fancy to give a much nicer look.
This also means removing the debug/tracing output, or relegating it to HTML comments.

Done in r415 through r427 (and probably more to come, but this looks a lot better already.)
